The Hive Art Gallery is delighted to present Above the Tideline, a group exhibition showcasing new and selected works from talented Hive Artists, celebrating our connection to the coast and the landscapes, stories and experiences that exist beyond the water’s edge.

A special feature of the exhibition will be Sand Soldiers, Joanne Adler’s entry in SWELL Sculpture Festival 2026. These giant ceramic soldier crabs will make their way from the shoreline into The Hive, giving visitors the opportunity to experience these impressive sculptural works up close within the intimate gallery environment.

Bringing together painting, drawing, photography and sculpture, Above the Tideline celebrates the many ways our coastal environment inspires the artists who live and create here.
