Live@the Hive-Autumn Equinox
The Hive Art Gallery, Currumbin Is celebrating the changing of the seasons with a special live art in the gallery event as a part of the Small Wonders exhibition.
As the Autumn Equinox arrives — a moment of perfect balance between day and night — local artists will respond creatively in real time. Each artist will create a new artwork live in the gallery, inspired by the theme of the shifting season in their own style.
You are invited to watch the creative process unfold, see ideas emerge on canvas, and experience the energy of artists working side by side.
At the end of the session, the finished works will be displayed together as a spontaneous collection capturing the spirit of the moment.

The HIVE is another artist-run studio (we love to see it), a fine art gallery and co-operative art space. They support local and international, emerging and established artists of all skill levels, as an effort to encourage inclusivity and creativity. Within the gallery, you’ll find an array of stunning works available for purchase, or if you’d like to stay awhile, why not grab a ticket to one of their workshops! Life drawing, anyone? There’s also a regular meetup and music night if you want to meet some like-minded folks.
